Finbarr was bought as a foal and arrived in Sweden as a yearling.
He was approved 2004 with high marks. Until 2007 he has covered about 70 mares. In 2006 and in 2007 one of his daughters became junior champion at the Breed Show and another daughter reserve champion at a local Show. A son was foal champion.in Finland. In 2008 his first progeny, 3 years old, did his performance test with high marks, especially in jumping. In 2008 four out of seven daughters born 2005 were awarded diploma status and two offsprings were sold to Ireland. In Finland Finbarr´s daughter Eachna Critan has great success in the showring and his son Halle Lafferty is a consistant winner.

Glencarrig Prince, unbeaten in the Irish show-rings and Supreme Champion at Clifden Show 2003. Finbarr is from his first crop. Many promising offsprings are coming up all around Ireland. One son was in the Olympia Final, London, in December, Glencarrig Duke.


Scarteen Mistral, won her class at Dublin Horse Show as a two year-old. She is by the famous showjumper Ashfield Bobby Sparrow and at her mothers side you find Tulira and Smokey ponies. Scarteen Mistral, who died in 2003, is even the dame of, among others, Coosheen Breeze, Coosheen Stormboy and Coosheen Gale, all successful within their branches. Her last foal, Coosheen Sea Mist, a full sister to Finbarr, was second among the two years old fillies at Clifden in 2004 and placed again 2005.
